Excellent, colorful addition to the woodland or rock garden 'Beth Evans' has lovely reddish-pink and white flowers over blue-green leaves. Tuberous, clumping, and summer-dormant.

Mature size: 6-10 inches T x W

Minimum temperature: -20º F

C. solida (bulbous forms) must ship before foliage develops.  Choose a shipping date between July 1 and February 1.  This means the plant CANNOT ship in February, March, April, May, or June. The foliage of this plant is too delicate to survive shipping while actively growing. If a shipping date is chosen outside the shipping window the cost will be deducted from your invoice.

NOTE: These are SUMMER DORMANT plants; they dry up and go "to sleep" after they bloom in spring. Other examples of summer dormant plants are Tulips and Daffodils. Do not be alarmed when they disappear with the onset of warm weather days--given proper conditions, they will be back the next spring, bigger and better than before.
