Collected from the edges of a lava field near Mt. Washington in the Cascades, this very local (though from higher elevation) native has blue-green, fairly large (for a Manzanita) pointed leaves and white urn-shaped flowers in clusters. Evergreen. A good screen, a sculptural focal point, or a landscape matrix that makes good wildlife cover.
