This woodsy plant makes a delicate impression with rounded, tri-lobed leaves (like a duck's foot) and delicate, beak-like, white nodding flowers late-spring through mid-summer. A graceful groundcover in shaded areas, its amenable to dry soil but spreads better in moist soil. Disease- and pest-free. A Northwest native.
