This drought-tolerant Pacific Northwest native has ebullient golden sunflowers on short stems, and large, rough leaves reminiscent of the shape of a mule's ears. The seeds are a delicious treat for goldfinches during the heat of summer; Field Crescent butterflies also enjoy dining on the nectar of this beauty that grows a nice, compact 2 x 2 feet.
