From New Zealand, Renga Lily has been a significant plant in Maori culture, used both medicinally, spiritually, and now, ornamentally. Its lush mound of soft green strappy leaves is adorned in spring with elegant, blushed, white starry flowers on tall wands. Unlikely as it might seem, this is an effective plant in dry shade and can be massed to form an impressive ground cover around trees. From New Zealand, it especially appreciates coastal areas. 3' x 3'
