Dancing Oaks selection. 'Red Octopus' was named immediately upon seeing the twisting red-cinnamon bark of this low-growing groundcover manzanita. Bright-green clean foliage. Our specimen in the garden is now a 4x4 ft wide mat at three years old. 

Mature size: 4-8 in T x 5-8 ft W 

Minimum temperature: 10º F

Not recommended for hot and humid climates.
