Dense geometric manzanita that blooms heavily with bright pink bells. Selected by Bart O’Brien while at the California Botanic Garden (formerly the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden). 'Diablo Blush' has smaller, more tightly packed leaves than most in its species and is slower, denser growing. 

Arctostaphylos auriculata has a limited distribution, endemic to Mount Diablo in Contra Costa County, California.

Minimum temperature: 10º F

Not recommended for hot and humid climates.
