Selected by the good folks of California Flora Nursery from the steep slopes above Lake Sonoma. The silver cast of the foliage made this selection an eye-catching specimen among the greener leaves of its companions. 'Warm Springs' has turned out to be a vigorous grower with blushed-white winter blossoms followed by decorative fruit of rosy apple-green. We especially love the captivating plumy hues of the smooth bark. Take advantage of the large stature of this selection by choosing a site with plenty of room in full sun. Provides an important early spring source of nectar for hummingbirds and bumble bees. Very drought tolerant once established.
