These plants are native to the Pacific Northwest and/or the West Coast of North America. Some may be what many are calling "nativars" — cultivars of natives. Some natives are endemic to a very specific niche or locale — a valley or mountainside, or are native to a very large area such as North America. When making a native garden, consider the definition of "native" you will use. These plants are essential for wildlife habitat and for our native pollinators. Aside from that, they are natively and naturally beautiful.
