A large, native Oregon shrub for a hot, dry spot that doesn't get boggy in winter. Upright, curving branches hold small, evergreen paddle-shaped leaves. In early spring, the shrub is covered with round clusters of small, off-white, fragrant blooms. The local pollinators such as bees and butterflies will LOVE you for planting this. Once established, it will be unhappy if you give it summer water. Somewhat deer resistant.
