One of Oregon's cutest ground covers; covered with tiny pink or sometimes white red-veined flowers and little, fleshy, round, bright green leaves are a spring beauty from wet areas, beach to alpine. Only a few inches tall, it spreads to form thick, pretty mats. Delicate, very sweet, and easily managed. The name comes from Italian botanist, Giuseppe Montia, and parvifolia, Latin for “small leaf”. To 15 inches tall including flower spikes.
