Two foot tall spikes of striking deep-rose hollyhock-like flowers (though smaller) make for great cut flowers and pollinator attractant. Cut back hard after late spring-early summer blooming to encourage an encore before the fall. Excellent for mass plantings. Enjoys well-drained soils and sun-part shade.
