From Iran and the Caucasus, this Cornflower has rich, lavender to rosy-pink 2 – 3-inch deeply fringed flowers in late spring to early summer. Enjoy in your cottage or meadow gardens or bring it to a vase near you as it performs well as a cut flower. Deadhead to prolong bloom time and cut back in the autumn. It obligingly grows in poor soils and clay. Attractive to butterflies!
