From Iran and the Caucasus, this Cornflower has rich, lavender to rosy-pink 2 – 3-inch deeply fringed flowers in late spring to early summer. Enjoy in your cottage or meadow gardens or bring it to a vase near you as it performs well as a cut flower. Deadhead to prolong bloom time and cut back in the autumn. It obligingly grows in poor soils and clay.  Attractive to butterflies! 

Recently moved from the genus Centaurea to Psephellus.

Mature size: 2 – 2.5 T x 1 – 1.5 W perennial clump.
