A spectacular foxglove with tightly packed, fuzzy, silvery purple blooms with apricot throats & red veining and lance-shaped foliage. Native to NW Turkey. Blooms in mid to late summer.
Reportedly prefers cool soil and part shade, but our specimen has lived happily for several years in sections of our hot, dry garden with light, late afternoon shade and little to no supplemental summer water, as well as garden beds with full sun and occasional summer water. Best purple color with a bit of drought stress; she performs beautifully under pressure.
