From Mexico, this Cosmos blooms summer into fall. It's deep chocolate-red in color and surprisingly chocolaty in fragrance to match the color, holding all the delight of a secret discovered! Yellow pollen contrasts brightly against this elegant small cosmos with reddish stems, enjoyed by bees and butterflies. In colder climates lift the tubers as you would dahlias or mulch well in milder areas. Prefers better draining soils.
