A petite tree with light apricot-colored spring foliage. Dwarf and slow-growing. Selected by Leonard from trays of Acer palmatum rootstock while grafting at Running Horse Nursery, Canby, Oregon in the early 1990s. Planted here at the nursery in 1996, and as this is written in 2025, the plant is about 5 feet tall. Slow to offer much scion wood of grafting-size.
