Apricot tubular blooms thickly line upright stems that rise above low mounds of aromatic, finely cut foliage with a strong minty scent, from mid to late summer. It adds vibrant color late in the season when many other plants are fading. Compact, sun-loving perennial that thrives in well-drained soils - especially alkaline ones - and tolerates drought once established.
A steady favorite for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds who are frequent visitors all season long. Deer and rabbit resistant, and generally pest-free! Regular deadheading encourages more blooms, and it can be propagated from seed. Equally at home in borders, containers, or sweeping mass plantings, this adaptable perennial adds charm wherever it grows. It’s also excellent for cut flower arrangements!
