'Ken Taylor' grows to a maximum of about 2 feet tall and a spread of 8 feet in several years, making a fairly dense evergreen structure. In the valley, Ken can do full sun but is amenable to some shade throughout the day, contrary to what one might think for a manzanita. On the coast, full sun all day is excellent, having originally been a coastal resident of the Monterey Bay area.
