This one of a kind Japanese Maple boasts of haunting pale green reticulated leaves edged in crimson upon emerging in the spring. The fiery border matures into deep green in the summer. Phantom Flame's ghoulish good looks really catch fire in the fall when the foliage is completely consumed in shades of scarlet. A Crispin Silva introduction. Prefers partial shade.
