Selected by California Flora Nursery along Guerneville Rd. in Sonoma County. Expect vigorous initial new growth, of up to a foot per year, with appropriate site conditions. Selected for the disease resistance of the Vine Hill manzanita hybrids. Mature specimens flower generously with white blossoms blushed with pink which are then followed by handsome red berries. Prune judiciously to expose the beautiful mahogany bark or leave the generous foliage to provide screening for birds as they dine. Appreciates full sun, excellent drainage, and no summer water. Nectar source for bees and hummingbirds.
