Tall upright sculptural twisted branch form with upright leaves arranged geometrically in an alternate overlapping pattern. Hummingbirds are enticed by generous clusters of flowers in shades of tender pink. Beautiful shredded mahogany-colored bark creates a handsome backdrop. Native to California, found on Montara Mountain, south of San Francisco. Survived winter temperatures of 13º F in our test garden without any fuss.
