Creeping groundcover Manzanita with whirring, deep green, glossy foliage that contrasts nicely with light pink flower clusters, soon followed by bright red berries. Coming from the coastal shores of California, this manzanita was selected near the Point Reyes light house in Marin County, CA. Tolerant of light shade and intermittent water on the hottest summer days.
Mature size: 1 ft T x 10-12 ft W
Minimum temperature: 15° F*
*typically listed as hardy to 25° F. However, we have grown it in Zone 8 where it's survived two winters that dipped below 15° F without missing a beat. We suspect it's even hardier.
