Glossy, green, and mottled heart-shaped leaves are tinged with purple and have slightly toothed edges. Late spring through August brings a multitude of tiny, lavender-white flower clusters sprinkling the air just above the leaves. This is a fine, evergreen ground cover that has made its way here from southwestern China.
