This deciduous, clumping perennial grass differs from the species with its chartreuse flowers that dangle down from one side of the seed stalk, and "blonde" seed heads persist into fall. Grey-blue leaf blades are a beautiful foil to the bright flowers & seeds. (The species has purple flowers and maxes out at 2 feet tall)
