Narrow, crinkled flower petals of orange and yellow on bare stems illuminate the late winter garden. Position to catch the low winter sun, and place where you'll see it and smell its light fragrance in winter - near a driveway, walk, or window. Deciduous, vase-shaped, slow-growing shrub with orange and red fall color.

In certain conditions, 'Jelena' blooms yellow in the fall before blooming again in the winter with its usual orange.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.
