Magnificent 12-14 inch, conical, and pendent panicles of double green and white florets turn dusky pink with age. Each panicle is supported by sturdy stems that eliminate flopping. The textured oak-like leaves become wine-red in fall. This is lovely as a large, lush mound, or gracefully cascading over a wall. Tolerant of many conditions and always rewarding, even in winter when it gives up its leaves exposing interesting exfoliating bark.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
