August to October, large, flat-topped, deep rose flower heads (corymbs) bloom above succulent, light blue-green leaves. Given soil that is not rich, it will form a sturdy clump 16" T x 12" W. It's plenty happy in clay soil or shallow, rocky soil which makes it doubly appreciated! Butterflies will ornament the flowers!
