A selection from the Polly Hill Arboretum, MA, four-inch white blooms cover this elegant tree from early to mid-summer. The bark is the same patchy, multi-colored bark we love in Stewartias, but the growth habit is more spreading than the species. Its autumn color is lovely, and with more sun is a bright and glowing red!
