This short-lived but self-sowing perennial forms an evergreen rosette of heavily felted silver-white leaves. In midsummer, flowers spikes up to 8 feet tall will bear bright yellow saucer-shaped blooms. It judiciously reseeds in the garden happily ever after, so never fear, you'll never entirely lose it, and you will be able to easily limit it if you so desire. This is a beacon in the dry garden, a white-flocked sculptural presence!
