From the Buchholz Ghost Series, 'Black Hole' earns its name with dark red variegated foliage emerging in the spring that changes to deep purple/black at maturity. So captivating, you will be pulled into its gravity like you're beyond the event horizon! In the fall, leaves turn brilliant red. 'Black Hole' has an upright form with a wide canopy like a sky full of dark stars. Sun/part shade.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
