Koto no ito means 'Harp Strings,' referring to the very fine linear leaves. Spring foliage is pale green changing to medium green in summer then golden yellow in fall. It's an upright tree, dense with a soft appearance, easy to grow and quite heat-tolerant despite the finely textured leaves.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
