Foliage is almost feathery on this Amsonia with striking fall foliage turns later than other Amsoniaand large plantings can look like a watercolor painting. Full sun will enhance bluer bloom color, but afternoon shade will retain blooms for longer. Forms a thick clump over time. Prune back after flowering to maintain a tidy clump.
