Curious manzanita that makes a charming bright green sphere with serrated pointed leaves. Selected by Bart O'Brien whilst at the California Botanic Garden (formerly the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden). This selection does not bloom.
Serration is usually a feature only found on young manzanitas, so the 'Green Witch' is a Peter Pan bush; some of us never grow up. Other cultivars exhibiting this behavior are 'Knobcone Point', 'Baby Bun', and 'Small Change'.

Minimum temperature: 15º F
*Our baby plant survived extended cold down to 13°F in the winter of 2024.
Not recommended for hot and humid climates.
