A. luciana is a beautiful evergreen shrub with pointed, silver-blue, clasping foliage and an open form revealing dark mahogany bark. Rare species endemic to the southern Santa Lucia Mountains. The new growth through the summer is pale soft silver, as the season changes it gets more tones of blue.
'Marshmallow Vibes' is a Dancing Oaks selection with particularly bright silver foliage and full bloom, the most handsome of the A. luciana from the California 2022 collection trip.
Best grown in full sun, well-draining soils, and little to no supplemental summer water once established.
