Not your average Manzanita! Large, round foliage resembles juvenile Eucalyptus leaves, and in summer, the bright red new growth contrasts beautifully with the older blue foliage! Upright habit.
Mature size: 6-12 ft tall x wide
Minimum temperature: 15º F
Not recommended for hot and humid climates.
Many thanks to plantsman Jon Kaplan, who generously drove us all over the winding hills of the San Francisco Bay Area to see these gorgeous mature manzanitas (as well as many others) in their native habitat.
