'Cally Rose' is somewhat atypical of its genus: Fine, narrow, light green foliage on also fine stems gives this shrub a softer, airier visage, although the thorns, of course, are still there in case you're tempted to give it a pat. (Just don't.) Elegant in habit and presentation whose narrow leaves and thin stems lend this a poise seldom associated with the genus. Truly pink flowers with whitish inner parts puts this over the top. A Far Reaches North America introduction.
