An astonishing foliage plant with giant 12-inch rounded leaves and a furry surface ("ciliata"). Clusters of soft pink flowers bloom on 12-14 in stems mid-spring.
Serving suggestion: contrast with Hakonechloa grass or Himalayan maidenhair (Adiantum venustum). Needs intermittent water when grown in shade and regular summer water when grown in the sun.
