This open-formed shrub or small tree has intriguing and entertaining intense, orange, globose blooms (1.5 inches in diameter) and dark green, velvety leaves. Each orb is composed of tiny, tubular, fragrant flowers. A loose cluster of these fun orange balls forms at the branch tips in midsummer. We have one along the drive that stops everyone in their tracks when it's in bloom. It stops bees in their tracks, too! This Buddleia is not considered invasive.
