Distinctive, bright yellow-chartreuse leaves form a mounding dome. The star-like blue flowers are 0.5 to 1 inches wide and are grouped loosely in flat, round clusters in late spring. (Formerly known as C. elantines var. garganica.)
A low, mat-forming cultivar that spreads indefinitely...and aggressively if given ideal conditions! Those conditions are rich soil that is well-draining yet regularly watered. To limit the spread, give less-than-great conditions or plan on dividing regularly. The showy nature of this plant makes the upkeep worthwhile!
