Xeric, long lived evergreen shrub or small tree native to the west North America, from the Cascades, Montana, Colorado, down to Baja.  It has dark green, short, narrow, resinous foliage held tightly to the shrub. The flowers are small and white, not particularly showy; the fruits are their Moment, silvery tufts that light up the shrub in low light. This shrub is also nitrogen fixing.

Best grown in full sun with minimal summer water.

Mature size: 6-15 ft T x 5-8 ft W

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
