A native to the East Coast and Gulf states this politely increasing mat-forming perennial works well in semi-shade. The demure golden flowers of 'Pierre' bloom over a long season (early summer through fall) and are pollinated by butterflies. It is generally found along forest margins and appreciates morning sun with filtered light rather than dark shade. Use this rhizomatous semievergreen to help displace weeds.

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.
