This is a non-vining, bushy clematis. Give it support if you want it to be upright, or allow it to meander amongst its neighbors. From summer through early fall, individual blooms open violet-blue, then get pale lilac centers, and finally fade to a soft blue.

Group 3 – Flowers only on new wood. Can be cut to the ground in fall or spring. Cut stems 12-18 inches from the soil, just above a growth node or new shoot.

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
