Spectacular snowy drifts of white flowers bloom in June on this vase-shaped tree! Visitors see it and want it - a snowy peak of blooms! This disease-resistant Cornus kousa, with the typical pointed cream-colored bracts, is a selection made in the late 1980's by nursery co-owner, Leonard Foltz, from 2000 field-grown seedlings while working at Running Horse Nursery in Canby, Oregon. It is named after Snow Peak, a lookout in the Oregon Cascades that was the location of many memorable family jeep outings in the 1960's and 1970's.

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
