‘Burgundy Lace’ is the only European hazelnut (Corylus avellana) cultivar widely available that combines dissected, dark red leaves and resistance to the Oregon strain of Eastern filbert blight. Leaves will transition to green as the season progresses.  A strikingly ornamental tree with an upright, loose, spreading habit. An Oregon State University introduction!
