A seedling featuring more sunset fall color than the usual Cotinus coggygria Purpureus Group. The summer foliage is the typical deep purple that makes this shrub/tree a fantastic contrast plant for yellows and light greens. Late spring or summer flowers are smoky clouds of pink-bronze to purple.
