Crassula sarcocaulis is native to the mountainous slopes of eastern South Africa. Its succulent foliage can make for an intriguing bonsai, as the common name implies, or be used in xeric gardening as a low shrub. It blooms either white or pink in late summer or fall. Flower shape resembles daphne. Prefers to grow in sun with low water. Adaptable to growing in captivity as a houseplant. 

Our plants are propagated via cutting from a pink-blooming plant.

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
