Low and spreading, this selection has green leaves with a silken grey covering that catches the dew, and bright orange, gorgeously blaring trumpets that hummingbirds endlessly delight in. Given a chance, it will cascade beautifully over a rock wall or edging. It is indeed drought-tolerant but will look more full with occasional summer water. Make certain its soil is well-draining or it will become scraggly...heaven forbid.
