'Catalina' is a vigorous orange-red bloomer from California's Channel Islands. Surfs up, hummers, you'll love this one! Silvery-grey foliage is dense under the tall flower spikes. Good drainage is always best for this genus, and they'll be drought-tolerant once established, but 'Catalina' will appreciate a little summer water - and who can blame it, coming from a maritime environment.
