A selection by Arubutus Gardens, this barrenwort is named for its large splashes of red on green winter leaves. Leaves up to 18 inches tall, with flower spikes of large gold-yellow blooms held up to 24 inches high. Grows densely in well-drained woodlands or shady borders.
