A deciduous hybrid, introduced by Darrell Probst in 2009; this stunning selection features large grandiflorum-like blooms in spring. Flower clusters develop on dramatically dark stems with the outer sepals resembling the color of a Satsuma plum with contrasting inner sepals and cup in shades of pale lemon curd. Foliage develops a handsome bronze patina with the onset of winter.
Mature size: 1 ft tall and slowly increasing clump to 3 ft wide.
